A leading mechanical manufacturing organisation are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their already successful team.
Quality Engineer
£35,000 pa
Hertfordshire
Purpose of role:
Managing, monitoring, testing and inspecting manufactured and purchased components and products to make sure they meet specified standards and are manufactured using the correct tools, materials and processes.
Responsibilities
* Provide quality engineering support for the manufacturing plant.
* Maintain and control quality through goods receiving.
* Work with manufacturing and engineering to identify improvement opportunities
* Problem solving and implementation of corrective actions to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
* Support initiatives that improve supplier quality and supplier performance.
* Support QMS system, train and implement quality related procedures.
* Deputise when needed for the Quality Manager
Experience needed:
* Experience working in manufacturing in a quality, engineering, supply chain, or similar environment
* Experience in driving supplier quality development
* Experience of ISO9001
* HND/HNC or degree qualified in an Engineering discipline
